Mobile TV Not Popular

Continental Research has released its Autumn 2007 Mobile Report and reveals that there is a low level of interest in Mobile TV among consumers. Only 1 percent of those polled said they have used the service in the past 12 months. Participants were asked if they would prefer a subscription-based service with no commerical interrruptions, or a free service supported by advertisements. The free option proved to be popular – however, 53 percent did not express an opinion. This lack of interest does not bode well for networks wishing to increase revenues by providing mobile TV services.
